
It was a double dose of bad news for Alexis Herrera-Loveto after last week’s Daviess County Classic. She missed her personal best time by nine seconds but had good reason. The Hopkinsville sophomore suffered a foot fracture that has likely ended her cross country season.
But Herrera-Loveto was at Saturday’s King and Queen of the West, cheering on teammates and helping hand out awards at the end. In this YSE interview, she discussed healing in time for the spring track and field season and gave us the low down on her green hair.
