
Heritage Christian Academy freshman MeKena Dalke recorded a top-10 finish Saturday at the King and Queen of the West Invitational at Christian County.
Dalke ran a time of 23:36 over the 3.1-mile course. She knocked nearly two minutes off of her time on the same course two months ago.
She will become the first HCA runner to compete in the KHSAA Class 1A region tournament on Saturday in Owensboro.
