Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A’ – University Heights’ Audrey Perry

Don’t let her usually quiet demeanor mislead you. University Heights Academy’s Audrey Perry is among the toughest and most competitive girls’ soccer players in the area, and one of the leading scorers. But, she is not only successful on the pitch, but in other aspects of her student life as well. All of that factors in as Audrey is the latest Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A.’

Her on-the-field numbers speak for themselves. The sophomore was third on the Lady Blazers’ team this fall in goals scored with 23 and tops on the team in assists, by a wide margin, with 30.

Off the field, Audrey is ‘finding the goal’ in the classroom and the community and ‘assisting others’ as they strive to do the same.

She has a 4.0 GPA and is pushing herself in the classroom as she does on the soccer field. Audrey is currently enrolled in AP courses, which makes that 4.0 GPA no small accomplishment.

As part of her academic achievements, Audrey is being inducted into National Honor Society and Beta. The National Honor Society is an organization for high schoolers that promotes leadership, service, character, and scholarship. High school students in grades 9-12 with a minimum GPA of 3.0 are eligible to apply for membership into the National Honor Society. To be admitted, students must show academic commitment, leadership experience, and good character.

Audrey was also recently honored as a member of the 8th District All-Adacemic All-District team.

Not only is she strong on the field and in the classroom, she is involved in her school community and the community at large. She is currently participating in Hopkinsville Youth Leadership. Youth Leadership is a program that engages high school students in the community while providing an opportunity to learn more about the Hopkinsville community and how those who are participating can make it a better place.

Through her involvement with Youth Leadership, Audrey has been involved with the Aaron McNeil House. The Aaron McNeil House looks to promote the well-being of families in the Hopkinsville/Christian County community through their Crisis Relief and Food Pantry programs, with the mission of assisting families in crisis with basic needs including food, housing, utilities, and medication, and offering opportunities for improving lives through education.

In her school community, Audrey is also involved in FCS, Interact Club, KYA, and student council.

Faith is also a part of Audrey’s life as she attends Southside Church of Christ in Hopkinsville.

She does enjoy her fun time as well. Audrey likes spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, snow skiing, and hunting with her Dad and dog Callie. Audrey and her sister, Emma, are especially close and can often be found watching a sunset from the back patio.

As for the future. after high school graduation in a couple of years, Audrey plans to attend the University of Kentucky and pursue an accounting degree.
