Heritage Christian Academy had a pair of personal-best performances at the region cross country meet Saturday in Owensboro.
Eighth-grader Cadyn Travis finished in 27th place, covering the 3.1-mile course at Yellow Creek Park in 20:49. He missed qualifying for the state meet by one spot.
Fellow eighth grader Aaron Hensley ran a 20:53 to finish in 29th place.
Not only were their times personal bests, but they were also the third and fourth fastest times in school history.
