Cadyn Travis has been running cross country at Heritage Christian Academy since he was a second grader. After a pair of top-10 finishes at the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association State Meet, the HCA eighth-grader competed in his first KHSAA region meet on Saturday.
Travis finished in 27th place and missed becoming the first HCA runner to qualify for the KHSAA state meet by one spot. He already owns the third fastest time in school history and in this YSE interview, said he now understands the work necessary to top the list and make the state meet next year.
