Grace Cansler already stands out on the soccer field and the track for Hopkinsville High. Last Saturday, the sophomore was called to duty to run for the Lady Tigers in the region cross country meet.
Running a 3.1 mile race for the first time, Cansler finished in 15th place and helped Hoptown to a second-place finish — the school’s best since 1979.
