
Machi Davidson led the Livingston Central boys’ cross country team at Saturday’s KHSAA Class A state cross country meet in Lexington.
The senior crossed the line in his final race in 76th place with a time of 18:57 over the 3.1-mile course at the Kentucky Horse Park, which hosted the state meet for the first time since 2019.
Carson Taliaferro was 169th in 21:15, and Phillip Wilson was 219th in 23:02.
Next across the line was Carter Belcher in 230th place (23:34), followed by Brayden Keeling in 246th place (24:44) and Hugo Pulido in 256th place (26:48).
As a team, the Cardinals finished in 33rd place with 813 points, edging Crittenden County by 21 points.
