
The Dawson Springs Panthers cross country team brought home a top-10 finish from Saturday’s KHSAA Class 1A State Meet in Lexington.
The five-team region champions scored 382 points to edge 11th place Murray by six points. Kentucky Country Day was ninth with 366 points.
Senior Lucas Osborne concluded his cross country career with a 55th place finish in 18:30. Deacon Dever was 68th in 18:47, and Easton Bourland was 70th in 18:50.
Sean Stallins was 116th in 20:05, and Montgomery Johnson was 133rd in 20:25. They were followed by Michael Faughn in 158th place (20:57) and Preston Drennan in 196th place with a time of 21:54.
