Crittenden County senior quarterback Micah Newcom threw for a touchdown and ran for another on Friday to propel the Rockets to a 24-20 victory over visiting Todd County Central in the opening round of the 2A playoffs.
With the Rockets trailing in the fourth quarter and facing a 4th and 3, Newcom weaved his way to the endzone to break Rebel hearts and earn a Max’s Moment.
