This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of October 30 is University Heights Academy’s Chayse Gilliland. Chayse was selected based on her performance in the Lady Blazers’ state tournament volleyball match against McCracken County.
Chayse, who by the way, is just an 8th grader, finished the night with 10 kills, 4 total blocks, and 13 digs. For the season, she ended up second on the team with 218 kills. She added 24 total blocks, 178 digs. and 41 service aces.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County based on their performance in a big game that week.
