
A big start to the season Saturday for the Fort Campbell boys swimming team as they opened the season with a second-place finish at one of the region’s top events. The Falcons were in Hopkinsville for the 2023 Rick Cohn Tiger Invitational.
The Falcons finished the meet with a team score of 63 points, which put them behind only Bowling Green. The Purples ‘swam away’ with the day, finishing with 147 points.
Muhlenberg County finished third with 51 points.

Brody Sharp led the Fort Campbell effort with a first-place finish in the Mens 50 Yard Free, finishing with a time of 24.70. Sharp also finished third in the Mens 100 Yard Back. He also swam on two Top 5 finishing relay teams for the Falcons.
Jonah Weisbrich and John Stultz also had big days in the pool for Fort Campbell.
