University Heights Academy two-sport standout Que Quarles is no stranger to the big moment, with the goalkeeper coming up big in a penalty kick shootout to help the Blazers claim the All-A Region title as a junior and duplicating that feat with a big shootout save against Christian County to deliver this season’s 8th-District title.

An All-District selection on the pitch as a junior and senior, Que was also named to the Coaches’ Association All-Region team after allowing less than two goals a game with four shutouts.  He closed out his high school soccer career in style by helping the 2nd Region to a 6-3 victory in the first-annual All-Star Match against the 3rd Region at Apollo High School.

A phenomenal athlete, Que has also played a big part for the Blazers on the basketball court.  He was third on the team with just over seven points per game as a sophomore before upping his average as a junior.  Que was particularly lethal last season from deep, knocking down 21 shots from behind the arc at a 42% clip, good enough for second on the squad.

Que and the Blazers tip off the season on November 27 against Ballard Memorial before heading to Las Vegas before Christmas to participate in the Tarkanian Classic at Bishop Gorman High School.
