The KHSAA Board of Control approved the selection of Russell County High School to host regions 1-3 for the first-round state site in 2024.
The University of Louisville will host Regions 4-6 and Scott High School will host Regions 7-9 as 2024 State First Round sites for Swimming.
Also at Wednesday’s Board of Control Meeting, the board approved the increase of the total number of qualifiers advancing from the swimming & diving region meets to the State First Round to 48 per event statewide, including approval of the format structure for those three first-round events.
The KHSAA said this will result in a total of a total of 24 competitors advancing from the first-round sites to the State Final Round in each event.
