Hopkinsville Tiger basketball standout Antonio Williams will be headed to the ‘Show Me’ state to continue displaying his basketball talents once his senior season with the Tigers is done. Williams announced via social media Friday that he would be attending Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Three Rivers is a member of the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association.
During his junior season, Williams helped to lead the Tigers to the 2nd Region championship game, where they came within an eyelash of upending regional favorite Lyon County.
Williams averaged 18 points and 11.5 rebounds per contest. He shot 55.8 percent from the field.
During his sophomore season in 2021-2022, Williams averaged 10.8 points and 6.1 rebounds a game.
