Fourteen individual former athletes, one team, and a legendary broadcaster are the latest Hall of Fame Inductees at Hopkinsville High School. Hopkinsville High School Athletic Director Blake Leach announced the 3rd class of inductees into the Planters Bank–Hopkinsville High School Hall of Fame Tuesday morning.
In a statement, Leach noted that this class of inductees has a great history of participation, play, and representation of Hopkinsville High School.
Those being inducted this year include:
Susan Marquess – Swim
Jeff Merritt – Wrestling
Richard Graham – Football
Dale Polley – Football
Shannon Wood – Cross Country / Track
Tony Harris – Wrestling
George Atkins – Basketball
Steve Kelley – Football
Candace Johnson – Track
JaQualis Matlock – Basketball
1969 Swim Team – Swim
Ronnie Catlett – Football
Levar Weston – Football / Wrestling
Kent Parrent – Wrestling
Austin Bucko – Soccer
Hal King – Athletics Contributor/Radio Announcer
The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on February 3rd during the basketball games with Heritage Christian Academy. Game times are at 3:00 for girls and 4:30 for boys.
