
The Trigg County Lady Wildcats used a 24-0 second quarter run to pull away for a 60-16 win over the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons Tuesday at Wildcat Gym.
Evonna McGee scored 11 of her game-high 16 points in the frame as the Lady Wildcats turned a five-point first quarter advantage into a 39-10 halftime lead.
Eighth graders Veyda Grinols and Ajalise Navarro came off the bench to score six points in the first quarter. Navarro finished with a career-high 15 points and Grinols scored nine.
Rosella Rajj led Fort Campbell with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lady Falcons will open district play Thursday at Heritage Christian Academy.
Trigg County will play the first of three straight district games on Friday at Crittenden County.
