A big day for both the Fort Campbell Falcon and Lady Falcon swim teams Saturday, as the Falcons picked up a big meet win and the Lady Falcons nabbed a top five finish. The Falcon and Lady Falcon swimmers were in Owensboro for the 2023 Candy Cane Classic at the Healthpark at Owensboro Medical.
The Falcons ended up with 96 points for the day. Madisonville-North Hopkins was second with 78 points. Muhlenberg County finished a close third with 77 points.
In the girls’ competition, Fort Campbell finished with 50 points, placing them 5th for the day. Daviess County was 1st with 109 points and Owensboro Catholic was second with 86.
Fort Campbell swimmers had three first-place finishes for the meet, two in the boys’ meet and one in the girls’.
