A night after knocking off 8th-District rivals Fort Campbell for their first win of the season, the Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors had their momentum halted on Friday with a 50-14 loss to visiting Christian Fellowship.

The Lady Eagles scored the first 30 points of the game and led 35-2 at the halftime break.  Gracie Howard led the way with 16 first-half points, including 12 in the opening quarter, and Ava Ryan added six points in the first on a pair of three-pointers.

HCA’s Kate St. Martin connected on a pair of threes in the third quarter, and Gameena Santiago and Kylie Tedford each added a bucket.

St. Martin led HCA with seven rebounds, and Santiago was the only other Lady Warrior to score more than one basket.

Howard finished with 25, six points shy of her season average.  Ryan finished with nine points and seven rebounds for the Lady Eagles.

Christian Fellowship won for the second straight time to improve to 4-1.  HCA slipped to 1-3 and has over a week off before hosting Caldwell County on December 16.

Ava Roberts was on hand for YSE to get these shots of the Lady Warriors in action.
