You could say he is ‘blocking’ the way to success for opponents of the Ole Miss Rebels so far this season. Hopkinsville High School grad Jamarion Sharp is making his defensive presence felt this season for the Ole Miss Rebels.
The 7-5 senior, and former Western Kentucky Hilltopper, is averaging nearly 18 minutes per game for the Rebels, who are unbeaten after the first nine games of the season.
Sharp is now up to 21 blocked shots on the season and has at least one blocked shot in every game. His highest total was four blocks in the Rebels win over Alabama State. He had three blocks in games against Sam Houston, Temple, and North Carolina State.
He is also averaging 4.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game for the Rebels so far this season.
Ole Miss will take on California Saturday in the 2023 Hall of Fame Series in San Antonio.
