The Christian County Lady Colonels are hoping a three-day trip to Bowling Green this week gets them pointed in the right direction for the 2024 portion of its schedule.

The Lady Colonels are making their third straight appearance in the event, hosted by Warren Central and named for their late girls’ basketball coach.

Christian County carries a 3-7 record into the event after dropping three straight games at last week’s Marshall County Holiday Classic. The seven teams they have lost to have a combined record of 46-22.

The Lady Colonels have three players scoring in double-figures led by Anaysia Bagwell’s 18 points a game.

They will play Caverna (2-7) Wednesday at noon.

Also in Christian County’s bracket are Harlan (5-4) and Russell County (5-4).

The bottom bracket features Cumberland County (4-5), McLean County (2-6), Warren Central (2-3), and Clarksville Northeast (3-3).

Christian County looks to improve on two straight trips with a 1-2 record at the tourney.
