Trigg County took four wrestlers to the Fort Campbell Girls Wrestling Invitational on Thursday at Austin Peay State University.
Makenna Hendricks kept her unbeaten record alive with a first-place finish in the 165-pound class. She needed only two wins – both by a pin – to win her class. She received a bye and won the championship via medical forfeit.
Kyra Adams won a match in the 145-pound class but opted out of her next match with an injury.
Ezashia Jones wrestled in her first match at 107 and Skyler Novosselov competed in the 152-pound class.
Even with the small roster, Trigg County finished in 15th place out of 22 teams with 32 points.
