The No. 8 Kentucky Wildcats continued to roll on Friday night, taking care of business in their 96-70 victory over the Illinois State Redbirds.

Kentucky was led by former Illinois State guard Antonio Reeves, who scored a game-high 27 points and now has 57 points in his last 64 minutes of action. Reeves was joined by Rob Dillingham (16), D.J. Wagner (14) and Reed Sheppard (11) in double-figure scoring.

In addition to accounting for more than half of their team’s points, those four also dished out 17 assists and grabbed 16 rebounds while committing only four turnovers.

It was another red-hot shooting night for the Wildcats, with Kentucky making 57% of their attempts (44% from deep) and a not-so-bad 76% from the free throw line.

Through 12 games, the 10-2 Wildcats have put together the best scoring team their fanbase has seen in nearly 20 years. The last time Kentucky averaged more than 90 points per game during that span, it was 1996 and the Wildcats were cutting down the nets in East Rutherford, NJ.

Kentucky will play in Gainesville next Saturday for their first SEC matchup of the year at Florida. Tip-off is scheduled for 12:30 PM ET with television coverage on ESPN.
