Paducah St. Mary got 20 points from Luke Sims to hold off Caldwell County 64-53 in basketball action Thursday night.
The homestanding Vikings led 33-25 at halftime and 46-41 through three quarters.
Caldwell fell to 5-5 with the setback.
Jaydarius Wilson had 15 points and Carter Whittington added 14 to lead the Tigers, who will visit 7th District foe Dawson Springs on Friday.
Collin Whittington had eight points for Caldwell.
For St. Mary, Owen Mikel added 16 points and Aidan Hahn had 15.
