Caldwell County youth wrestlers had a great weekend in Nashville at Music City Nationals.
As a team, the Tiger Wrestling Club scored 120.5 points, putting it 19th out of 113 teams.
Every team that scored higher had 25 or more athletes while the local squad had 12.
The K-2 girls team scored a total of 111 points, taking first place in its division. The second place team had 30 points.
Una Ferguson, Riley Overbey and Jayde McIntosh all became National Champions by getting first place in their weight classes at the Music City Brawls in Nashville. All three pinned their way to the championships.
Claudia Ferguson and Freya Bruce were runners-up and also earned the title of All-American.
