Fort Campbell Archery Bags Pair of Third Place Finishes

The Fort Campbell archery team finished in third place at Saturday’s Calloway County Laker Shootout in Murray.

Ryan Brewer had the top score for the Falcons with a 271 which was good for 10th place.

Jakob Oberman was one point back with a 270 and was 13th. Nate Johnson shot a 268 to finish in 16th place.

Ava Roberts had the top female score for Fort Campbell with a 265 placing her 18th overall.

Other scorers in the top 12 for Fort Campbell were:

Juan Martinez – 264 – 22nd place

Sarai Aguirre – 261 – 22nd place

Shane Patterson – 261 – 24th place

William Nunn – 258 – 28th place

Jebby Brewer – 257 – 29th place

Mateo Cerritos-Gatto – 255 – 31st place

Caden Nunley – 250 – 32nd place

Wayne Robbins – 249 – 33rd place

 

Fort Campbell scored 3,112 points to finish 128 points behind second-place Marshall County and 201 points behind first-place Calloway County.

On Friday, Fort Campbell shot at the Muhlenberg County Mustang/Stars Shootout in Greenville.

Ava Roberts had the top score for Fort Campbell with a 270 that positioned her in 12th place in the girls’ standings.

Jakob Oberman also shot a 270 to finish in eighth place. Ryan Brewer and Ellie Arnold both shot a 268. Brewer’s score was good for 13th place while Arnold was 15th.

Other scorers for Fort Campbell were:

Sarai Aguirre – 267 – 16th place

Mateo Cerritos-Gatto – 261 – 19th place

Caleb Johnson – 258 – 21st place

William Nunn – 257 – 22nd place

Cassidy Lawrence – 256 – 22nd place

Tyler Tow – 255 – 24th place

Nate Johnson – 253 – 25th place

Shane Patterson – 250 – 31st place

 

As a team, Fort Campbell totaled 3,120 points to finish 41 points ahead of fourth-place Hopkinsville and 140 points behind second-place Todd County Central. Muhlenberg County won the team title with 3,275 points.
