After falling to the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons on post before Christmas break, North Hardin Classical got a little payback Saturday afternoon. The Lady Falcons from Radcliff took advantage of some frosty cold Fort Campbell shooting to pick up a 69-33 win in Hardin County.
North Hardin Classical limited Fort Campbell to just two Rosella Rajj field goals in the first quarter as they jumped out to a 16-4 lead.
North Hardin’s defense kept the pressure on in the second quarter, extending the lead to 35-11 at the break.
Led by Rosella Rajj and Jerni Hicks, Fort Campbell went a bit more toe-to-toe in the third quarter, but still the lead was 47-20 going into the final quarter.
Fort Campbell’s offense had its best quarter in the fourth, but the defense had trouble stopping the NHC attack on the other end as North Hardin Classical pulled away for the 36-point win.
Rosella Rajj topped the scoring chart for Fort Campbell with 18 points. Jerni Hicks added 6 points for the Lady Falcons.
North Hardin Classical was paced by Jazz Brown, who led all scorers in the game with 30 points.
