Hoptown Swimmers Celebrate Senior Night With Victory

The Hopkinsville Lady Tiger swim team celebrated Senior Night with a victory in a three-team match on Tuesday at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.

Hoptown scored 112 points to edge second-place Fort Campbell by six points. Christian County was third.

RESULTS

Grace Cansler – 1st in the 50-yard free (29.12) and 1st in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:18.10)

Eliza Renshaw – 1st in the 100-yard free (1:10.16) and 4th in the 50-yard free (31.27)

Livie Jorgensen – 2nd in the 200-yard IM (2:39.87) and 8th in the 50-yard free (33.97)

Saralynn Major took second place in the 200-yard free (2:34.33) and 3rd in the 50-yard free (30.91)

Caroline Payne – 2nd in the 500-yard free (6:48.40) and 6th in the 50-yard free (32.11)

Kaley Bangart finished third in the 200-yard free (2:35.57) and third in the 500-yard free (6:50.78).

Brilyn Merrick – 3rd in the 100-yard backstroke (1:30.22) and 4th in the 200-yard free (2:46.58)

Kaydon Coats was 3rd in the 100-yard free (1:14.61) and 5th in the 200-yard free (2:46.86)

Evelyn Bangart – 4th in the 100-yard free (1:16.24) and 9th in the 50-yard free (34.18)

Madelin Macario – 7th in the 100-yard free (1:23.16) and 11th in the 50-yard free (35.97)

 

The 200-yard free relay team of Saralynn Major, Eliza Renshaw, Grace Cansler, and Livie Jorgensen took 1st place in 2:03.97

The 200-yard medley relay team of Saralynn Major, Grace Cansler, Livie Jorgensen, and Caroline Payne finished in second place in 2:18.57.

The 200-yard free relay team of Caroline Payne, Evelyn Bangart, Kaley Bangart, and Kaydon Coats finished in second place in 2:16.77.

The 400-yard free relay team of Eliza Renshaw, Kaley Bangart, Kaydon Coats, and Brilyn Merrick finished 2nd in 5:07.03.
