Lady Tigers Edged in Thursday Quad Match

Madisonville edged the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers in a four-team swim meet on Thursday at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.

The Lady Maroons scored 106 points to edge Hoptown by two points. Hopkins County Central finished in third place and Christian County was fourth.

RESULTS

Livie Jorgensen – 1st in the 200-yard IM (2:40.59) and 3rd in the 100-yard free (1:03.59)

Eliza Renshaw – 1st in the 100-yard butterfly (1:25.53) and 8th in the 100-yard free (1:16.55)

Grace Cansler – 1st in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:17.00) and 3rd in the 50-yard free (29.73)

Saralynn Major – 2nd in the 200-yard free (2:20.05) and 5th in the 50-yard free (31.14)

Caroline Payne – 2nd in the 500-yard free (6:41.41) and 4th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:24.66)

Kaley Bangart – 3rd in the 500-yard free (6:46.30) and 6th in the 50-yard free (32.36)

Brilyn Merrick – 3rd in the 200-yard free (2:42.85) and 5th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:28.23)

Kaydon Coats – 4th in the 200-yard free (2:43.72) and 4th in the 100-yard free (1:11.42)

Evelyn Bangart – 6th in the 100-yard free (1:15.68) and 9th in the 50-yard free (34.55)

Madelin Macario – 8th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:42.43) and 10th in the 50-yard free (35.32)

The 200-yard medley relay team of Caroline Payne, Grace Cansler, Eliza Renshaw, and Livie Jorgensen won with a time of 2:22.74.

The 200-yard free relay team of Grace Cansler, Caroline Payne, Saralynn Major, and Livie Jorgensen finished in second place in 2:02.87.

The 400-yard free relay team of Brilyn Merrick, Evelyn Bangart, Kaley Bangart, and Kaydon Coats finished in second place with a time of 5:04.17.

The 200-free relay team of Eliza Renshaw, Evelyn Bangart, Kaley Bangart, and Kaydon Coats finished in third place in 2:14.94.
