Turned out to be a big day Friday for the archery team at Heritage Christian Academy. HCA edged out Fort Campbell to claim the 2nd Region All A Classic championship in Madisonville.
Heritage Christian finished the day with a team score of 3036, four shots better than the Falcons, who finished with a 3032. Lyon County took third place with a 2982. Livingston Central was fourth with a 2758. Dawson Springs ended up in fifth place with a team score of 2600.
Individually, Mekena Dalke took top honors with a score of 274. Jonathan Garrett was second in the event, also finishing with a 274, but losing out on the tiebreaker. Nate Johnson was third with a 270.
