With just 10 games left in the regular season, Kentucky basketball is spiraling in the wrong direction.
The Wildcats lost to the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday night, 103-92. Head coach John Calipari and his team have lost three of their last four games and have given up at least 94 points in back to back games.
Their defense is historically bad, with the team’s offense short-handed due to the recent absence of freshman guard D.J. Wagner and inconsistency from everyone not named Antonio Reeves, Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham.
At 5-4 in SEC play, Kentucky is tied with Florida for sixth in conference standings. With the SEC Tournament just over a month away, it will be an uphill climb for the Wildcats to clinch a bye and start their postseason on Friday. And considering how the Wildcats have been playing as of late, that could very well lead to another early exit.
The Wildcats will head to Nashville on Tuesday for a road matchup against Vanderbilt. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM ET.

This team will be a double digit loss also ran AGAIN!
The problem with recruiting blueblood one and done’s is that no one taught them defense in high school. So, when they go up against grown men, they look like a high school team.
