The Caldwell County Tigers have won eight of their last 10 games, including four in a row.
The Tigers have put themselves in position to claim the No. 1 seed for the 7th District tournament after beating Dawson Springs 53-38 Friday night. But Caldwell will have to knock off Madisonville-North Hopkins on Tuesday. The Maroons got out of Princeton a week and a half ago with a 63-62 victory.
With the second meeting being the tiebreaker in the 7th District, the Tigers would claim the top seed for the district tournament with a win at Madisonville.
Demaurius Thompson had 16 points on Friday as the Tigers beat Dawson Springs. In this YSE video, he says Caldwell’s recent success has been a team effort.
