This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of January 29 is University Heights Academy’s Quinton Quarles. Quinton was selected based on his performance in the Blazers’ big 8th District win over their crosstown rivals, the Hopkinsville Tigers.
Quarles scored 17 points for the Blazers in the contest, 11 of those coming in the 4th quarter of play as UHA came from behind to take a 5-point win. That win helped the Blazers secure the top seed for the upcoming 8th District tournament.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County based on their performance in a big game that week.
