With Madisonville-North Hopkins trailing Caldwell County 18-11 late in the first quarter Tuesday night, Montae Ratcliff grabbed an offensive rebound and buried a 3-pointer at the buzzer that helped turn things around for the Maroons.
Madisonville would go on to outscore the Tigers 30-7 in the second quarter on the way to a 71-46 triumph that gave the Maroons the No. 1 seed in the 7th District.
