After one season as girls’ golf coach, Stacy Crick will add the Christian County boys’ program to her duties in 2024.

Crick was named the boys’ coach on Wednesday. She replaces Austin Knight, who coached both boys’ programs at Hopkinsville High and Christian County last year.

Last year, I had the privilege of working with the boys golf team in an assistant coach capacity,” Crick said in a release. “It gave me the opportunity to get to know the boys and become familiar with their skill set. Having that insight will help me create an approach to both develop existing skills and work to improve various aspects of each individual’s game.”

Crick was tasked with rebuilding a girls’ program that has seen a drop in numbers in the past six seasons. She will now also lead a boys’ program that has seen a resurgence in numbers despite several key transfers in the past three seasons.

There is a lot of talent on this team among both young and veteran players. I see the potential and believe they’re capable of posting some very competitive scores. They’re also a great group of boys and a lot of fun. I couldn’t be more excited to step into the head coach role,” she said.

Crick played college golf at Belmont University and Brescia University and previously held the title of assistant golf coach for boys and girls at CCHS in 2008-09.  She was head girls golf coach at Hopkins County Central High School from 2012-2014.
