Two personal bests and a top-five finish were among the results for a handful of University Heights Academy Blazer track and field team members over the weekend. UHA was in Louisville for the Eastern Relays at the University of Louisville.
Griffin McCoy set a new personal record in the 60 meters with a time 0f 7.29. McCoy picked up a third-place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 42-1.5.
Logan Miller also ran a personal best in the 60 meters with a time of 9.96.
The UHA boys 4×400 team ran a 3:58 in their event. The effort is especially noteworthy as the team was battling illness and it was not the normal lineup for the team. The group did qualify for the indoor state meet.
