
Caldwell County’s Med Thomas had 15 points and 10 rebounds but the Lady Tigers came up a little short at Paducah Tilghman on Tuesday, dropping a 51-42 decision.
Tilghman (6-18) bolted to a 16-4 lead after one quarter, but Caldwell (7-19) got back within 22-19 at halftime.
The Lady Tornado took a 31-23 lead to the fourth quarter.
Myiesha Smith led Tilghman with 13 points while Fran Hodge netted 10.
Caldwell got 12 points from Brylee Butts in addition to Thomas’ big game.
Tilghman has won the last three matchups between the two teams.
Tuesday’s game was a late addition to the Caldwell schedule.
The Lady Tigers will play at home on Saturday when they host Christian County for a noon varsity contest.
