It was one of those experiences that the guys on the team will remember for a lifetime. The Trigg County Wildcats were in Memphis Monday, taking part in the ‘Play Like the Pros’ event.
The game gave the Wildcats the opportunity to play in the FedEx Forum, which is the home of the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies.
In addition to the game, the Wildcats had the chance to visit the Civil Rights Museum.
The game itself, against the St. Mary Vikings, turned out to be a close one with the Wildcats falling 69-67. The loss was the third straight for the Wildcats and drops them to 10-14 on the season.
Trigg County is set to return to action Thursday against Meridian for Senior Night in Wildcat Gym.
