
The Caldwell County Tigers traveled to the 1st Region Thursday night but dropped a 73-56 decision at Paducah Tilghman.
Caldwell led by six points early in the contest and trailed just 32-28 at halftime.
But Tilghman began to pull away in the third quarter, then put the game away in the final frame.
Tilghman took a 53-40 lead to the fourth quarter on the way to the 17-point triumph.
Miles Woodfork had 24 points to lead the Blue Tornado while Joshua Campbell added 22 points. Omari Williams finished with nine points.
Jaydarius Wilson had 15 points and eight rebounds for Caldwell. Carter Whittington had 12 points and seven boards while Demaurius Thompson and Ryan Hammett each had nine points.
Caldwell will conclude the regular season Friday night with a girls and boys home varsity doubleheader against Livingston Central.
