This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for games played during the week of February 12 is Hopkinsville’s Shiyah Forte. Shiyah was selected based on her performance in the Lady Tigers’ big 2nd Region win over Crittenden County on Senior Night in Tiger Gym.
Shiyah scored 28 points to lead Hopkinsville to a 74-62 win over the Lady Rockets. Hopkinsville enters next week’s district tournament on a four-game winning streak with Shiyah as the team’s leading scorer and leading rebounder on the season.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County based on their performance in a big game that week.
