Though their record may not entirely show it, Kentucky basketball has put together a pretty impressive two week stretch.

The Wildcats are 3-1 with home wins over Alabama and Ole Miss as well as a road win at Auburn. They did lose at LSU, but on a fluky play and on a night where anyone not named Antonio Reeves or Rob Dillingham couldn’t throw it in the ocean.

With the SEC Title Game exactly three weeks away, Kentucky is playing well enough to make their first appearance since 2018.

The Wildcats have four games to go in the regular season and none will be a walk in the park. They’ll travel to Mississippi State on Tuesday before hosting Arkansas on Saturday. Kentucky will then host Vanderbilt (Senior Night) before ending the regular season at Tennessee.

A lot of shifting can happen during these next two weeks, both in conference standings and Associated Press Top-25 rankings. Considering the way Kentucky is playing, the Wildcats should be able to take advantage of their opportunities.
