
With Caldwell County clinging to a 53-50 lead late in the fourth quarter Tuesday against Dawson Springs, Carter Whittington came up with a steal and a bucket following a wild scramble underneath the basket.
That gave the Tigers a 55-50 advantage, and they would go on to post a 62-56 victory and earn a berth in Friday’s 7th District championship.
