Ryan Hammett sent Caldwell County to the fourth quarter with some momentum Tuesday night, drilling a 3-pointer just ahead of the buzzer.
Dawson Springs had pulled to within four, 38-34, on a runner in the lane by Montgomery Johnston. But Caldwell rushed the ball up the floor to Hammett, who nailed the 3.
The Tigers went on to claim a 62-56 victory in the 7th District semifinals to advance to Friday’s championship game.
Hammett’s shot earned him this Max’s Moment.
