It was not a win for Kentucky gymnastics on the scoreboard but it certainly was a win for gymnastics in the Bluegrass.

Kentucky is ranked sixth nationally and is having a magical season. The Cats hosted No. 5 Florida Sunday at Rupp Arena and it was a big and loud crowd of over 10,000 fans supporting UK.

Kentucky (7-4, 4-3 SEC) scored a school-record 198.100 points but fell just short against the Gators (11-1, 6-1 SEC) who scored 198.225 points.

Kentucky had set a scoring record earlier this season against Georgia with a 197.950.

Sunday was even more special when Makenzie Wilson (vault) and Raena Worley (floor) both received a perfect 10.0 from the judges.

This was the final home match for senior Teagan Garrison, Bailey Bunn, Carissa Clay, Hailey Davis, Isabella Magnelli, Arianna Patterson, and Worley.

Kentucky ranks third nationally on both floor exercise and vault.

Wilson has her second perfect score of the season in the anchor position and got her seventh individual win of the season.

Worley was the top scorer on uneven bars for the Cats and finished second overall with a 9.950. Worley had a 9.925 on balance beam and then got her third 10 of the season on floor to record her 24th career event win.
