With the expectation of a capacity crowd for Monday night’s Boys’ 2nd Region tournament at Hopkinsville High School, officials have announced how ticket sales for the two big games will be handled. The games are scheduled for 6pm and 7:30 pm Monday.
In the announcement, Hopkinsville High School officials stated that pre-sale tickets for the Boys’ 2nd Region semifinal games will go on sale Monday, at the ticket booth at Tiger Gym. Those pre-sales will be available from 9am until 2pm or while available.
Officials point out that tickets could be limited due to overwhelming sales for the two games, which will feature Henderson County and University Heights in the 6pm game and Lyon County against Madisonville-North Hopkins in the second game.
Tickets for Monday night’s semifinals are $10 cash.
Tournament officials are preparing for the possibility that the games will be a complete sellout and that at some point ticket sales at the door will cease, or may not even take place if enough tickets are sold to bring the arena to capacity ahead of game time.
Capacity at Hopkinsville is listed at 4,800.
