Henderson County pulled away in the second half to win the girls’ 2nd Region championship for the sixth-straight year, defeating Hopkins County Central 55-33 in the title tilt Saturday night at Trigg County.
Henderson will play in the state tournament at Rupp Arena in Lexington next week.
