The Fort Campbell Falcons got on the scoreboard for the first time Saturday but it was otherwise a tough trip to Marion. The Falcons fell 11-0 and 17-1 in a double-header against Crittenden County.

In the opener, the Rockets took advantage of 12 walks from four Falcon pitchers on their way to the five-inning win. The Rockets used only three hits to score their 11 runs.

Fort Campbell also had issues in the field, being charged with three errors in the game.

Michael Anderson, John Arnold, and Adam Harrington had one hit each for the Falcons.

The second game saw the Falcons score their first run of the season but things quickly got away after that as Crittenden County scored 17 runs over their first two at-bats to take a 17-1 three-inning win.

The Falcons scored their run on three walks and a wild pitch in the top of the first inning to take a brief 1-0 lead.

The Rockets then got their bats cranked up, ripping 11 hits over the bottom of the first and the bottom of the second. Crittenden County scored 10 in the first and seven more in the second to close out the win.

Two Rocket pitchers combined to throw the three-inning no-hitter against the Falcons.

Chase Conyer led the Rockets, going 3-4 with 4 RBIs.
