
The Christian County Lady Colonels finished in seventh place at Saturday’s Henderson Mom’s Colonel Classic track and field season opener.
The Lady Colonels scored 39 points, nine more than ninth-place Hopkinsville.
Kaidence Atwell ran a personal best time of 28.13 seconds to finish in third place in the 200-meter dash and was sixth in the 100-meter dash in 13.81 seconds.
Julia Munoz finished third in the long jump at 13-10.75 and was fifth in the triple jump (28-04.5). She also came in 10th place in the 300-meter hurdles in 1:03.26.
Symeria Brown came in fourth place in the 400-meter dash with a personal best time of 1:05.73.
Jayda Johnson came in fifth place in the 200-meter dash in 29.33 seconds.
Taylor Morris finished in eighth place in the 3200-meter run in 13:51.98. She also finished ninth in the 800-meter run in 2:52.04 and came in 11th place in the 1600 meters in 6:18.58.
Olivia Jones was 13th in the discus throw (53-03) and was 14th in the shot put with a throw of 15-06.25.
Destiny Lewis was 14th in the long jump (10-10) and was 16th in the 100-meter dash in a time of 14.75 seconds.
Aubree Cline was 20th in the 1600-meter run in 7:32.86 and 22nd in the 800 meters in 3:24.17.
Jazmyn Rodriguez was 20th in the 400 meters in 1:15.12.
The 400-meter relay team finished in fourth place in 53.65 seconds, while the 1600-meter relay team also came in fourth place in 4:36.80.
