
For the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors, their first time to host the Christian County Colonels on the baseball diamond will be one they soon would like to forget, and not just because of the cold and blustery conditions.
The Christian County Colonels quickly put an end to their 3-game losing streak Monday afternoon. The Colonels came up with 15 hits and took advantage of seven Heritage Christian Academy errors as the Colonels took a 20-0 win in a game that ended after 2 ½-innings.
Christian County scored 15 runs in the top of the first inning and rolled from there. The Colonels had 19 batters come to the plate during the inning.
Christian County added four more runs in the second and closed the game out with one more run in the third.

Carter Sholar, Jacob Jenkins, Eddie Davis, Sebastian Dazey, and Jonathon Lewis had two hits each in the game for the Colonels. Both of Dazey’s hits were doubles. Jenkins, Dazey, Lewis, and Blake Boehman had two RBIs each.
Caden Gresham and Preston Haddock had one hit each for Heritage Christian Academy.
Preston Phan pitched two innings to get the win for the Colonels, giving up no runs on two hits and striking out three.
