In wake of the announcement Friday that UT-Martin head coach Ryan Ridder was leaving the OVC school to become the next head coach at Mercer University, one Lyon County senior has decided to take another look at his basketball future.
In a social media post Monday, Brady Shoulders announced that we was withdrawing his commitment from UT Martin and reopening his recruiting.
Not long after the announcement, Shoulders stated that he had received offers from Mercer and Florida Gulf Coast. Shoulders’ Lyon County teammate Jack Reddick recently committed to the Florida school.
Shoulders and the rest of the Lyons are getting ready for their first game in this week’s Boys’ Sweet 16 against Ashland Blazer Wednesday afternoon.
