The youthful Heritage Christian Academy baseball team was held to a single hit on Tuesday at Union County, falling 10-3 to the undefeated Braves.

Union County starter Coltin Capps earned the win on the mound, with a lone walk the only blemish over three innings of work.  Logan Hall worked three frames in relief, surrendering two unearned runs with a walk and nine strikeouts, and Landon Tapp gave up an unearned run with a hit and a pair of strikeouts in a one-inning appearance.

Ethan Miles delivered the only hit for the Warriors but also took the loss on the mound.  The freshman hurler allowed eight runs, six earned, with six walks and six strikeouts over four and two-thirds innings.  Cadyn Travis got the last four outs, holding the Braves without a hit while giving up two runs, one earned, with a pair of walks.

Tate Nobles led the Braves with two hits and two RBI, followed by Braden Cluchie with a hit and two runs driven in.  Tapp finished with two hits and an RBI, and Waylon Wheatley drove in two.

HCA slipped to 0-6 ahead of a trip to Community Christian on Thursday in the first-ever meeting between the programs.
